The dramatic skies and rich colors of the mountain west in fall are truly unmatched. I made this painting after a special day in the mountains with my big sister. The lime green lichens and red huckleberry bushes were sparkling under a million flying fireweed seedheads, and I poured all the buzzing energy from that day onto the paper.

This an open edition of prints available in two sizes. There is a white border around the edge to allow for framing without cropping the image. These are archival quality giclée prints, on heavyweight matte paper. They are made to last for lifetimes if properly cared for.
